Body Piercings
In Phoenix, AZ

Ear stacks, conch, helix, tragus, nostril, septum, navel and dermals. Single-use sterile needles and jewelry you can actually heal in.

Needle, not a gun

Pierced Properly The First Time

Every piercing at InkSquad is done with a single-use sterile needle, opened in front of you. Piercing guns crush tissue instead of cutting it cleanly, which is why they are not in this building, not even for lobes.

Jewelry matters as much as technique. We start you in implant-grade titanium or 14k gold, because cheap mystery metal is the single most common reason a piercing stays angry for months.

  • Marked before it is pierced. You check the placement in a mirror and approve it first.
  • Sized for swelling. Fresh piercings go in on a longer post, then get downsized once the swelling drops.
  • Aftercare included. Saline and written instructions before you leave.

Placements

What We Pierce

Stacked ear piercings including lobe and helix with gold hoops

Ears

Lobes, helix, conch, tragus, flat and stacked constellations. Come in with a photo and we will map a curation that suits your ear shape.

Nose

Nostril, septum and bridge. Septum placement follows the sweet spot in your own anatomy, not a fixed height.

Face & Oral

Eyebrow, lip and tongue. Oral piercings get their own aftercare talk because eating and drinking change the healing rules.

Body

Navel, nipple and surface work. We will check whether your anatomy actually supports the placement before booking it.

Dermals

Single-point anchors for cheeks, chest, hips and hands. Beautiful, and the most placement-sensitive thing on this list.

Jewelry Changes

Bring a stubborn piece in rather than fighting it at home. Downsizes and swaps take minutes at the counter.

Healing

How Long Each One Takes

Healing times are not a suggestion. Changing jewelry early is what turns a clean piercing into a bumpy one, so plan around these windows before you book something for an event.

  • Ear lobeRoughly 6 to 8 weeks. The fastest thing we pierce.
  • Cartilage3 to 12 months. Helix, conch, tragus and flat all sit in this range.
  • Nostril4 to 6 months before the jewelry should change.
  • Navel6 to 12 months, and it hates high-waisted waistbands the whole time.
Dry Phoenix air is hard on a healing piercing. Sterile saline twice a day beats any homemade rinse, and salt water from a pool or the ocean does not count.

Piercing Questions We Get Daily

Does it hurt?

Lobes are over in a second and barely register. Cartilage has more bite, and the pressure lasts a little longer than the pain does. Nobody has ever described a septum as pleasant, but it is quick. Eat first and it goes a lot easier.

Can I bring my own jewelry?

Yes. Outside jewelry is charged at $40 on top of the piercing price, and house jewelry is $10. Whatever you bring has to be implant-grade titanium or solid gold and the correct size for a fresh piercing, so bring it in and let the piercer look at it first. Cheap mystery metal is the most common reason a piercing stays angry for months.

How old do I have to be?

Bring valid photo ID. Minors need a parent or legal guardian present with their own ID, and some placements we will not do on minors at all. Call the shop before you drive out so there are no surprises at the counter.

What if it gets red and bumpy?

Come in and let us look at it. Most irritation bumps are a jewelry or pressure problem, not an infection, and they usually settle once the fit is corrected. Do not twist it, do not use alcohol or peroxide, and do not take the jewelry out.

Do you use a piercing gun?

Never, on any part of the body. Guns cannot be properly sterilized and they push jewelry through by force. Everything here is done with a sterile single-use needle.
