Laser Removal
And Skin Work

Tattoo removal, hair removal and carbon peel facials. Every laser session is run by the shop owner, not handed to an outside technician.

Who runs it

The Owner Holds The Handpiece

Laser work goes wrong when it is rushed or delegated. At InkSquad the owner performs every session personally, which means the person deciding your settings is the person who has to live with the result.

Consults are free and honest. If your tattoo is going to need eight sessions, we will say eight, not three. If a spot is a bad candidate for laser, we will tell you that instead of selling you a package.

  • Patch test first. We test a small area and see how your skin answers before committing to a full session.
  • Spaced properly. Sessions sit six to eight weeks apart so the body can clear the broken pigment.
  • Cover-up friendly. A few fading sessions often turn an impossible cover-up into an easy one.

Services

Three Things
The Laser Does

Laser device breaking up tattoo pigment on a client's skin

Tattoo Removal

Full removal or partial fading to make room for a cover-up. Black ink clears fastest, greens and light blues take the longest, and older work usually moves quicker than fresh work.

Laser hair removal treatment being carried out on a client's leg

Hair Removal

Legs, underarms, face, back and bikini. Hair grows in cycles, so results build over a course of sessions rather than arriving all at once.

Carbon peel laser facial treatment being applied to a client's face

Carbon Peel Facial

A carbon layer goes on, the laser lifts it back off along with surface oil and dead skin. No downtime, which is why people book it before an event.

Laser is not a one-visit fix for anything on this page. Book the free consult and we will give you a realistic session count and spacing before you spend a dollar.

Before you book

Getting Your Skin Ready

  • Stay out of the sunNo tanning, sunbed or spray tan for two weeks either side of a session. Tanned skin and lasers do not mix.
  • Shave, do not waxFor hair removal, shave the area the day before. Waxing and plucking pull out the follicle the laser needs to find.
  • Skip the activesPause retinol and strong acids for about a week before a facial session.
  • Tell us about medicationSome medications make skin light sensitive. Mention anything you are taking at the consult.

Laser Questions We Get Daily

How many sessions will my tattoo take?

Most tattoos need somewhere between six and ten sessions for full removal, but ink density, color, age, placement and your own immune system all move that number. Fading for a cover-up takes far fewer. The consult is where you get a real estimate for your specific piece.

Does laser removal hurt more than the tattoo did?

It is a different sensation, sharper and much shorter. Most sessions on a small piece are over in a few minutes. We cool the area and work in short passes.

Will it leave a scar?

Not when it is done at the right settings and you follow the aftercare. Scarring risk comes from over-treating, picking at blisters, or going back too soon between sessions. That is exactly why the spacing matters.

Can I get a carbon peel before an event?

Yes, that is the usual reason people book it. There is no peeling or downtime afterwards. Give yourself a couple of days of buffer rather than booking it the same morning.
